McKinsey asked for a campaign to lift the taboo on female menstruation. While doing some research on the subject I came to learn that the taboo goes way beyond female menstruation specifically, women are viewed as being less of a decent employee, president, manager, boss, all because they are seen as being too emotionally unstable and therefore lacking the gusto to make important decisions without getting their feelings involved. Menstrual cramps aren't a valid excuse as to not show up to work even though they can be way worse than regular stomach cramps and sometimes even go pared with a slight fever.

Men shouldn't make decisions or presumptions on women's bodies based on their ovaries.
